Fresh Basil's

I just had the most delicious meal from here. The shrimp cocktail was fresh and so tasty. I ordered the steamed broccoli, and had put an extra note asking for them to steam it with garlic. Since the garlic is sauted in olive oil, and it was clear to them that I was probably trying to watch my weight since I ordered steamed broccoli, they were gracious enough to send me sauted garlic in a separate container instead of putting the oil on the broccoli. I'm beyond impressed. I will definitely be ordering from here again!!!

The bolognese was so tasty, a single portion was big enough for to feed me for two meals, and the food arrived piping hot. Have ordered twice, good experience both times. Would recommend.

Love the food! It was such great food and came quickly. What a great value. Not terribly expensive and lots of food.

Tomato Soup and Pasta Quattro Formaggi were out of this world! 10/10 would absolutely recommend to a friend!

Just wow. Pasta and lasagna were excellent and the tiramisu was top notch. Will order again!!

Ok, don't listen to any of these crybabies and their stupid complaints. Especially if it's about slow service and arriving cold. If you order during busy hours, well duh, of course it'll take longer to get to you, and in this weather, depending where you are, it's hard for the food NOT to arrive cold, even if they sent it out ASAP, while giving your order #1 priority. Got the Penne alla Vodka. Was really great. Worth the wait. Good food for the price. Arrived closer to the 40 minute side but no big deal. And yes, arrived a little cold, but get this... we're in the 21st century. It's really not that big a deal to use this little something called a microwave. People who can't wait another 30 seconds to a minute for something to heat up must be the kinds of lazy asses that need food funneled directly down their throats. You know... right before you roll 'em over and hose 'em down. Would like to order from here again.

Love the food here. It's unreal. Everything on the menu is great (except the smoked mozzarella. It's rubbery with heavy smoke flavor, like you've been at a house fire.) They went through a rough patch where they couldn't accurately estimate delivery times & seemed totally overwhelmed getting orders wrong, etc. But the last two times we've ordered, everything has been fast and correct again. I hope they keep it up. I notice Seamless has removed some of the negative reviews for some reason lately.

This is one of my go to take out restaurants for about 25 years. They are consistent. They seldom make mistakes. The deliveries are fast. They do charge for substitutes without asking sometimes but I forgive that. Food is usually hot. I order from here because they are reliable and have decent food. Wish there were more take out places with the reliability like Fresh Basil. Very often when I try a new place I get a bad surprise. Never with fresh basil!

The BEST bang for buck Italian restaurant in Midtown Manhattan. The Quality has NEVER disappointed me. The food is always hot and I can go there and pick it up. Wonderful staff AMAZING food. My favorite is the Chicken with Penne ala vodka usually a special on Friday. Just picked up their special Penne Primavera with shrimp. The bag of food weighs ATLEAST SEVERAL POUNDS!!! The food is delicious will always order here time and time again.

This is my favorite place to order from on seamless. I usually get one of the hot paninis -- ingredients are fresh, everything is well prepared and delicious. I never place an order without also getting their cookies. All are really good (seemingly home-made, like mama does it), but chocolate chip are my favorite. AND, despite the fact that my office is at the far end of their delivery zone, they always get it here pretty quickly.
